Dear Rundle Families,
As the Principal of Rundle School, it has been my greatest joy to watch our students grow and thrive. Today, I write to you with a heart full of mixed emotions as I announce a significant change in my professional journey.
After much contemplation, I have decided to embrace a new opportunity that has presented itself. I will be transitioning from my role as your principal to take on the position of Assistant Principal at Richmond School. This change is bittersweet, for it means leaving a community that has become like family to me.
During my time here at Rundle, our learning community has worked to come out of the pandemic returning to teaching and learning that encourages the development of sports, the arts and technology. We have become an APPLE School and are beginning on a journey toward strengthening all of our nutrition, physical and mental well-being. I am proud of the work of our staff, students and families, and look forward to seeing where these journeys take Rundle School in the future.
As I prepare to step into this new role, I am filled with excitement. This move represents not just a personal growth opportunity, but also a chance to impact the lives of students in a new setting, carrying forward the invaluable experiences and lessons learned from our time together.
Please rest assured that the transition will be smooth and that Rundle's dedication to students will remain unwavering. I am confident that the staff and the new principal will continue to lead with the same passion and commitment that we have always cherished.
Our Education Director and her colleagues are currently working hard to find a principal who will be a perfect fit for our amazing students and families at Rundle. As such, they are seeking your input into this decision. We ask that you complete the following survey to provide your feedback regarding the priorities you and your children have for the next Principal of Rundle School.
As the transition to a new principal takes place over the next two months, we will all work hard to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible.
In closing, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your support, trust, and collaboration. It has been an honor to serve as your principal for these past two years.
