Welcome Back
Rundle School is having a wonderful start to the 2024-25 school year. For our returning students and families, “Welcome Back.” For students and families who are new to Rundle, “Welcome, we are glad you are here.” Students and teachers are settling into their routines and connecting with their friends, old and new.
Once again, we are the designated school for the communities of Cityscape and a portion of Rundle. We continue to accept new student registrations online through CBE School Engage. Please check the CBE homepage for registration details. This year, we received a high volume of registrations and are processing them as quickly as we can. If you know of any families who have not yet registered their children for school this year, please encourage them to do so right away.
If you live in Cityscape and have not yet registered your child to ride the school bus, please do so as soon as possible through your MyCBE account. If you do not have a MyCBE account, details about how to create one can be found here MyCBE registration . Rundle School does not process any bus registrations directly; all bussing is organized through the CBE Transportation department.
Rundle has many fun in-school activities coming up, as well as non-instructional days for students. To help you keep track of these dates please refer to the Rundle School calendars on our Rundle School website
APPLE School

Spirit Week: September 16-20, 2024
We will start our school year with a fun and optional Spirit Week. Let’s build community in our school by having some fun and getting creative with 5 themed days! We will be hosting the Terry Fox Run and Walk on Thursday, September 19 between recess and lunch. If possible, please send a twoonie for Terry, to raise money for cancer research.
Pancake Breakfast: Friday, September 20, 2024
Thanks to the generosity of Rotary of Calgary East, Rundle School students and staff will enjoy a free pancake breakfast on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024. Rotary is providing everything for us, and is aware of dietary restrictions that may be present for some children.
Friday, Sept. 20 is designated for our Mon-Wed Kindergarten classes. However, if your child attends Tues-Thurs Kindergarten and would like to come to school with you for some pancakes, you are welcome to join us. All of these Kindergarten children must be accompanied and supervised by their parent during this breakfast. Thank you
